Here are some rather Unusual Acne Home Remedies -- that won't break the bank.
The following are all actually acne home remedies that have been suggested throughout the years. Some of them may work for you. Some not so much.
However, they are all easy to try, none of them will cost you a lot of money and none of them should harm you (just be careful around your eyes) -- so you may want to give them a try before buying any expensive treatments or seeing a doctor.
It's not just for your teeth!
There is still no medical basis nor research yet that examines how that toothpaste affects acne -- but many people swear by this cure.
It might have been discovered by chance (perhaps by someone grabbing the wrong tube.) But none the less it seems to work.
To try it, just apply a small dab of toothpaste directly to your pimples before going to bed.
Note -- Be sure to use paste and not gel.
The Mermaid's way to get rid of Acne
Salt has been shown to be an effective acne home treatment.
Just prepare a salt and warm water solution and wash your face with it twice everyday. If nothing else this will certainly remove any excess oil in your face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes then rince.
For an even more effective solution add a tablespoon or two of vinegar to the water, also.
Fruity Concoctions

But fruits can also be used as cure for outer health problems. You can actually use some of them directly on you zits as an acne home remedy!
One good method is to place fresh lemon juice mixed with rose water in your face, leaving it there for 15 minutes. Doing this for 15 days is believed to give you amazing results!
Another is to add ground orange peel to water to make a paste and applied to the acne.
Lime can also be mixed with rose water. Follow the same procedure as the lemon juice above.
Juice made of Papaya applied on the affected area is another great option.
In addition, a paste made of ripe tomatoes has been shown to be an effective solution!
